Teleman, an English indie pop band, formed in London in 2011. The group consisted of Thomas Sanders (vocals, guitar), Pete Cattermoul (bass), Hiro Ama (drums), and Jonny Sanders (synthesizer). Prior to Teleman, Pete Cattermoul and the Sanders brothers were members of the indie band Pete and the Pirates. After disbanding in 2011, they started writing and recording new music under the name Teleman, inspired by an album by composer Georg Philipp Telemann. Their debut single "Cristina" was released in 2013, followed by their first album Breakfast (2014), produced by Bernard Butler. They toured extensively supporting acts such as Suede and Metronomy, and appeared at festivals including Glastonbury and Green Man. In 2016, they released their second album Brilliant Sanity, preceded by the singles "Fall in Time" and "Düsseldorf". Their third album Family of Aliens was released in 2018. Following the departure of Jonny Sanders in 2020, Teleman released the album Good Time/Hard Time (2023).
