Biography

Tekere is a jazz sextet made up of half Brazilian and half French musicians. This atypical group, passionate about warm sounds and jazz fusion, recorded their first album, Moqueca de Moleque , in Sao Paolo. In 2010, the group continues its exploration of the subtle links between learned music and improvisation on a second album, Qorums and Nodes. The richness of Brazilian music is embodied in a cover of the song "Lilia", performed in person by its composer Milton Nascimento.
