Biography
Takahisa Masuda, born 4 July 1986 in Tokyo, was a Japanese singer and actor who began his career in the Johnny's Entertainment trainee system in November 1998. He appeared as a junior backâdancer for senior acts and later secured a small role in the 2001 drama 3ânen Bâgumi Kinpachi Sensei. Masuda entered the music scene in 2003 as a founding member of the Jâpop group NEWS, contributing to their debut releases and the promotion of the 2003 Womenâs World Cup of Volleyball. In 2006 he formed the duo Tegomass with Yuya Tegoshi, issuing the single "Miso Soup" and touring Japan. Masuda returned to solo work with the 2025 album Kidoairaku, released in three editions and followed by a nationwide tour. He also performed in stage productions such as Ame no Hi no Mori no Naka and the 2025 ice show Hyoen â MirrorâPatterned Demon. His second album, COVER OF TAKAHISA MASUDA (Selected Edition), was released on April 8, 2026.
