Taisei Fukumoto, born on October 16, 1999, in Sakai City, Osaka, is a Japanese idol, actor, and entertainer. He originally joined Johnny & Associates (now SMILE-UP.) in 2011 at age 11 and became a member of the Kansai-based group Ae! group in 2019. In December 2023, Fukumotoâs contract with SMILE-UP. was terminated due to a compliance violation, leading to his exit from Ae! group and a temporary hiatus from the entertainment world. However, in June 2024, he returned independently as an idol, launching his official fan community âColorful,â symbolizing his commitment to bringing color and positivity to fansâ lives. In July 2024, he joined the agency NEW EVIDENCE and embarked on a 15-city live house tour from August, producing everything himself. On his birthday, October 16, he released the self-written and composed MV "I wanna meet U". In November, he won the Popular Star Award at Koreaâs Asia Model Awards. His 2025 release "Koino Joshokiryu" marks his new musical chapter as a solo artist.
