Biography

Taddy Porter is an American rock band formed in 2007 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The group consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Andy Brewer, lead guitarist Joe Selby, drummer Doug Jones, and bassist Kevin Jones. Originally conceived as a duo by Brewer and Doug Jones, the lineup expanded after Brewer took guitar lessons from Selby, subsequently inviting him and Kevin Jones to join. The band released its first recording, the four-track EP Monocle, in December 2007. After a successful performance at a local venue in late 2009, the group signed a management deal with Overtone Music Group and a recording contract with Primary Wave Records. The band's debut single, “Shake Me”, was featured on Monday Night Football and the sitcom Cougar Town. Other tracks, including “King Louie” and “Mean Bitch”, were featured in the HBO series Entourage. The self-titled debut album, Taddy Porter, was released in 2010 and reached number 24 on the Top Heatseekers chart. Following tours with artists like Slash and Finger Eleven, the group released its second album, Stay Golden, on February 26, 2013. Their discography further expanded with the release of the album Big Wheel on May 20, 2017.
