Biography

't Hof van Commerce, a hip hop group from Izegem in West Flanders, Belgium, was formed in 1997 by Filip Cauwelier, Serge Buyse, and Kristof Michiels. The band initially gained traction with their debut album En in Izzegem (1998), which sold approximately 8,000 copies despite being entirely in West Flemish. Their second album, Herman, was released the following year and sold around 5,000 copies. In 2002, 't Hof van Commerce achieved their biggest success with Rocky 7, selling 10,000 copies. The band's subsequent albums include Ezoa en niet anders (2005), released under their own label Plasticine, and Stuntman (2012). Notable singles from the group include "Jaloes" and "Niemand grodder". 't Hof van Commerce went on hiatus between October 2013 and January 2018. In 2025, they released LP6.
