Biography
Musitu Kumuini, known professionally as Sylabil Spill, is a German rapper of Congolese descent born on January 6, 1983, in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. Spill moved to Bonn, Germany, with his family in 1990 and began his music career under the name Freezah aka Mr. Ygor, participating in freestyle battles from 1996 onwards. He released his debut album Negative Energie in 2009, which featured 22 tracks. Spill released several EPs and albums, including Steine & Zwiebeln (2014), Der letzte weisse König (2017), and Okapi (2021). His music features a high number of punchlines, complex formulations, and boom bap beats. In 2016, Spill signed with Kopfticker Records, but the label closed in late 2017. He released the EP Auf Grime in 2018.
