Biography
The German rapper Disarstar was born Gerrit Falius on January 15, 1994. He grew up in Hamburg, where he made his first musical steps at the age of eleven. While his first lyrics were still characterized by alcohol and drug consumption as well as his first crimes, his rap style changed over the years. After a series of mixtapes and EPs were released for free download from 2010 to 2013, his EP Tausend in Einem (Thousand in One ) became his first commercial release in 2014. On June 26, 2015, his album Kontraste is released, which debuts at number 19 in the German album charts. In early 2017, Disarstar finally released the follow-up Minus X Minus = Plus. The album reached number 16 in the German charts. After his third album Bohemien (2019), things became a little quieter for the Hamburg native. Two years later, on March 12, 2021, Disarstar released his fifth album Deutscher Oktober. The longplayer reached number 5 in Germany. Together with the DJ and producer team Jugglerz, Disarstar released another album, Overdose, in January 2024. The album climbs to number 3 in Germany. Disarstar releases another studio album, Hamburger Aufstand, at the end of August 2025. The rapper reaches number 5 in the German charts. It also reaches number 8 in the Swiss top 10.
