Susan Jane "Suzie" McNeil, born on October 15, 1976, in Mississauga, Ontario, is a Canadian pop rock singer and songwriter. She began her career as a backing vocalist for various artists before gaining attention as a contestant on Rock Star: INXS in 2005. McNeil released her debut album, Broken & Beautiful, in April 2007, which included the single "Believe" that was re-recorded with the National Arts Centre Orchestra and served as the official anthem for Canada's team during the 2010 Winter Olympics. Her second studio album, Rock-n-Roller (2008), featured the successful single "Supergirl". In 2011, Suzie McNeil signed with Canadian label 604 Records and achieved mainstream success with songs like "Drama Queen" and "Merry Go Round", preceding her third studio album, Dear Love, released in August 2012 and followed by This Is Christmas. After a hiatus from her solo career, she formed the country rock quartet Loving Mary in 2014, which recorded an EP in 2015. In 2023, she released the seasonal album Snow Snow Snow.
