Susanne Fuhr, born on June 13, 1953 in Oslo, Norway, is a jazz vocalist and actor. She started her music career with the S.F. Band in the 1970s. Her breakthrough came at the 1979 Moldejazz festival with a lineup featuring keyboarder Brynjulf Blix, saxophonist Arne Frang, bassist and guitarist Sveinung Hovensjø, and drummer Svein Christiansen. Fuhr released her debut album Domino in 1981 under Polydor. She collaborated on the musical play Dans Med Oss Gud, releasing an album with lyrics by Erik Hillestad in 1982. In 1991, she released Don't Explain - En Gave Fra Billie Holiday with Odd Børretzen. Fuhr also participated in the Melodi Grand Prix in 1983 and 1986, and contributed voice work to animated films such as De Utrolige and Disney's Alice in Wonderland, and the TV series Clone Wars (Star Wars).
