Biography

Producer and rapper 9th Wonder has become a new star of the genre since his debut in 2003 with the group Little Brother. Encouraged by Jay-Z, this emulator of DJ Premier and Pete Rock worked on a very soulful sound close to the original hip-hop. working with a host of leading artists, from Destiny's Child to Ludacriss and Erykah Badu, 9th Wonder released Dream Merchant, Vol. 1 in 2005 and Dream Merchant, Vol. 2 in 2007. But it's his 2008 album The Formula with Buckshot and his 2010 album Fornever with MURS that show his enormous potential. The Wonder Years in September 2011 is one of the most eagerly awaited events of the rap year.
