Biography
Stoned Jesus, a Ukrainian stoner metal band from Kiev, was formed in 2009 by Igor Sydorenko. Their first demo was released early that year. In 2010, Stoned Jesus released their debut album First Communion, which established them in the underground music scene. Their second studio album, Seven Thunders Roar (2012), featured the popular track "I'm the Mountain", which surpassed 16 million views on YouTube by 2025. The band continued to release albums such as The Harvest (2015) and Pilgrims (2018). In January 2017, they became the first Ukrainian group to tour South America. Stoned Jesus signed with Napalm Records in 2018.
