Stefan Attila Rusconi, also known as Stefan Rusconi, born on February 14, 1979, in Zürich, Switzerland, is a pianist, sound artist, and composer known for his work in jazz, noise, and improvised music. He began playing the piano at age seven and studied jazz at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste from 1999 to 2003. In 2001, Rusconi formed his own band, "Rusconi," which released several albums before disbanding in 2017. His collaborations include projects like The Kitchen and I and the duo Whistler&Hustler with Ephrem Lüchinger. Rusconi has also worked on various theatrical productions, including composing music for Maxim Gorki's Kinder der Sonne and Meg Stuart's Until our Hearts Stop. In 2016, he released "Levitation" with Tobias Preisig and performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2017. Rusconi has received several awards, including the ECHO Jazz for "best Pianist (national)" in 2011 and as "best Live Act" with his band in 2013.
