Stéphane Paquette, known professionally as Stef Paquette, was born on December 18, 1973, in Chelmsford, Ontario. He is a singer and comedian recognized for his work in bluegrass, country folk, and country music. Paquette's career began with winning the Brunante award and being the first Franco-Ontarian laureate at the Festival en Chanson de St-Ambroise in Quebec. In 2003, he released his debut album L'homme exponentiel and became the youngest recipient of the Mérite Horace-Viau for his francophone contributions. His second album, Le salut de l'arrière pays, was released in 2011. Paquette also worked as a radio host at Le Loup FM and appeared in television series such as Les Bleus de Ramville and Hard Rock Medical. In 2015, he embarked on a national tour with RADARTS and Coup de CÅur Francophone, performing across Canada.
