Biography

Angus Christopher Gill, born on February 5, 1998, in Wauchope, New South Wales, Australia, is a singer-songwriter. He began playing guitar at age six and performed his first gig at the Hastings Country Music Association at seven. Gill released his debut EP Livewire in 2014 after attending the CMAA Academy of Country Music. In September 2017, he released his first studio album Nomad. His second album, Welcome to My Heart, debuted at number 2 on the ARIA Country Albums Chart in September 2019 and was nominated for 'Traditional Country Album of the Year' at the 48th Country Music Awards of Australia. In November 2019, Gill performed on the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. His third album 3 Minute Movies, reached Number 1 on the AIR Albums Chart and number two on the ARIA Australian Country Albums Chart in 2020.
