Splashgirl, a Norwegian jazz ensemble formed in Oslo in 2003, consists of Andreas Stensland Løwe on piano and electronics, Jo Berger Myhre on double bass and tone generator, and Andreas Lønmo Knudsrød on drums, percussion, and sounds. The group began their musical journey with the release of Doors. Keys. in 2007, marking their debut album. Following this, Splashgirl released several critically acclaimed albums including Arbor (2009), Pressure (2011), and Field Day Rituals (2013). Other notable albums in their discography include Hibernation (2015) and Sixth Sense (2018). The group has collaborated with notable musicians such as Sidsel Endresen, Jan Bang, Eyvind Kang, Mari Kvien Brunvoll, Randall Dunn, and Timothy Mason. Throughout their career, Splashgirl has performed across Europe, the USA, and Japan, further solidifying their presence in the jazz scene.
