Spencer Radcliffe, born in the United States of America, is a singer-songwriter and musician who began his career under the moniker Blithe Field. In 2008, he self-released an album titled Old Songs/New Songs. Over the next few years, Radcliffe released several albums as Blithe Field, including Beautiful Wave '74 (2010), Two Hearted (2011), and Warm Blood (2012). In 2013, he released a demo titled Sinking Down under his full name. Radcliffe was also part of the emo/indie band Best Witches from Chicago, Illinois, which was active from 2013 to 2014. In November 2014, he and R.L. Kelly released a split album titled Brown Horse. The following year, Radcliffe signed with Run for Cover Records and released his first album with the label, Looking In, on October 2, 2015. This album included the single "Mia", which was released on August 4, 2015, and earned him recognition as Stereogum's "Artist to Watch". He began performing with a group of musicians referred to as "Everyone Else" in 2016 and released a full-length album titled Enjoy the Great Outdoors (2017).
