Biography
Loosegoats, a Swedish lo-fi rock group formed in 1994, consisted of Christian Kjellvander, Johan Hansson, Jens Löwius, and Mårten Löfvander. The band released their first mini CD, Small Lesbian Baseball Players, in 1995. Shortly thereafter, Mårten left the group and was replaced by Anders Tingsek. In 1996, Jens departed, and Magnus Melliander joined as a full-time member. Their debut album, For Sale By Owner, was released in 1997. The band continued with releases such as Plains, Plateaus and Mountains (1999) and Her, the City Et Al (2001). Loosegoats disbanded in 2001 but reunited in 2009 for three gigs and released the album Ideas For To Travel Down Death's Merry Road in 2012.
