Soul In Isolation is a German dark wave band founded in 1992 in Nürnberg by Dave Scrag and Robert Tale. Their debut album On Stranger Tides (1993) was released under Gymnastic/ClassX-Records (now Chrom Records) and received positive reviews from publications such as Zillo. In 1994, Soul In Isolation released the EP Black Days in Heaven, after which Dave Scrag left the group. The band reunited in 2005 to perform and record new material, including a side project under the name Weltfremd. Following several lineup changes and a name change to Sinister Dawn in 2014, Robert Tale and Michael Schlössinger remained as the only original members of their 2011 formation.
