Biography

Sonic Syndicate, a Swedish metal band from Falkenberg, Halland, was formed in 2002 by brothers Richard Sjunnesson and Roger Sjunnesson along with Robin Sjunnesson. Initially known as Fallen Angels, they released three demos before changing their name to Sonic Syndicate in 2004. Their debut album, Eden Fire, was released under Pivotal Rockrdings in 2006. The band gained significant attention after winning a contest by Nuclear Blast Records, leading to the release of their second album, Only Inhuman, in March 2007. This period also saw notable tours with bands like Amon Amarth and appearances at major festivals such as Wacken Open Air. Their subsequent albums included Love And Other Disasters (September 2008), featuring singles "Jack Of Diamonds" and "My Escape", and We Rule The Night (August 2010). In 2011, the band went on hiatus, with members pursuing other projects. They later reunited to release their self-titled album Sonic Syndicate (2014).
