Biography
Helium Protect is a music label founded in 2010 in Douala, Cameroon, before becoming a group in its own right. Its mission is to promote young Cameroonian artists specializing in rap and trap. The group that emerged from the label includes rappers Syr Eragsy, Sojip and Biggiz. Together they conceived a first track in 2016, "Levez les mains", followed by a freestyle, "Heliuminati (Le Wish)" . The year closes with the release of the song "On ne back pas", produced by Obidy Style. In May 2017, the collective returned with a new freestyle, "Lettre à mon ex", and, a month later, the single "Ne tente pas" . In the heart of summer, it follows up with the sultry "Secoue-moi ça" and "Laisse-moi ça ", which welcomes the participation of Z-Tra. 2018 saw the release of the Fatalwa mixtape , led by the track "Me Nê Ossou". In June 2019, the label, which has expanded with the signings of Nura and Lecram, markets the mixtape of its namesake group, Heliuminati Vol.1. which includes "Levé les mains", "Pas de matter", "Coco et milliards" and "Tu wanda quoi".
