While he continued to play live in various groups, he recorded with a variety of major artists including Paul McCartney, M People, Lisa Stansfield, Ray Charles, Tom Jones, Culture Club, George Michael, Tina Turner, Paul Hardcastle, Cher, China Crisis, Beyoncé Knowles, Kylie Minogue, Swing Out Sister, Dave Stewart, Paul Young, Pet Shop Boys, Robert Palmer, Tanita Tikaram, Spice Girls, and many others. Although he had appeared on many albums during the first two decades of his professional career, he didnât release his first solo album until Snakebites in 2001. Further solo albums include Hysteria (2003), Adder Lessons (2005), and Missing You (2013). Snake Davis has also toured as the Blue Shoes with singer/songwriter Jim Diamond as well as one-fourth of quartet the Burden of Paradise.
