Small Town Pistols was a Canadian country music duo composed of siblings Amanda and Tyler Wilkinson, formerly of The Wilkinsons. After each pursued solo careers and went through difficult personal break-ups, the two began writing songs together again, initially with the intention of pitching material to other artists. They ultimately decided to perform the songs themselves under the name Small Town Pistols, which references their small-town upbringing and their grandmother Ida. Their self-titled debut album was released by 604 Records in 2013, featuring the single "Living on the Outside," which debuted on the Canadian Hot 100 in January 2013. The duo's second album, Pistology, followed in 2015, also under 604 Records.
