Small Factory was an American indie rock band formed in 1991 in Providence, Rhode Island. The group consisted of Alex Kemp on bass and vocals, Dave Auchenbach on guitar and vocals, and Phoebe Summersquash on drums and vocals. Their single "Suggestions" marked their entry into the music scene in 1991. Small Factory released several albums, such as I Do Not Love You (1993) and For If You Cannot Fly (1994). Notable songs include "What to Want" (1992) and "So What About Love" (1993). The band disbanded in 1995 and briefly reunited for a series of concerts in New York and Providence in April 2012.
