Biography

New Wet Kojak was an American indie rock band from New York City, formed in 1995 when Scott McCloud and Johnny Temple of Girls Against Boys joined Geoff Turner, Nick Pellicciotto, and Charles Bennington. The group released their self-titled debut album in 1995 through Touch and Go Records. Following this, they released Nasty International in 1997, also with Touch and Go. The band later signed to Beggars Banquet for their third album, Do Things, released in 2000. They continued with an EP titled No. 4, released the next year, and concluded their discography with This Is The Glamorous in 2003. After a hiatus of twenty years, New Wet Kojak announced their first official shows in December 2023, featuring their original five-piece lineup.
