Biography

Hailing from Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Sister Ray Davies is a shoegaze band formed in 2024 by Adam Morrow and Jamie Sego. The former, guitarist and singer, is known for having been part of the band Belle Adair in the 2010s, and the latter, sound engineer and producer, for having worked with The Divine 6/7, Donnie Fritts, Nicole Atkins, Nightmare Boyzzz and Hank Erwin. After the release of the single "War Machine (The Purpose of a System Is What It Does)" on the Sonic Cathedral label, the follow-up "Aidan", "Rowans" and "Big Ships " were released in 2025, followed by the album Holy Island.
