Biography

Silje Vige Bergøy, known professionally as Silje Vige, is a Norwegian singer. At the age of 16, she gained significant attention by representing Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest 1993 with "Alle mine tankar", written by Bjørn Erik Vige. The song was selected through Melodi Grand Prix 1993, where it won after being chosen by voting from eight regional juries. At the contest, Vige performed last in the running order and secured Norway's first top 10 finish since 1988 with a fifth-place ranking, receiving 120 points. This performance marked a notable achievement in her career, highlighting her early success in the music industry.
