Biography

Aaron Smith, known professionally as Shwayze, was born on May 29, 1985, in the United States of America. He is an American rapper who initially gained recognition through his collaborations with Cisco Adler. His first single "Buzzin'" peaked at number 46 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was followed by "Corona and Lime", which reached number 23 on the same chart and number 3 in the US iTunes Store. These early successes led to the release of his self-titled debut album Shwayze on August 19, 2008, under Geffen Records. The album debuted at number 10 on the Billboard 200 and sold 47,000 copies in its first week. Following the success of his debut, Shwayze released several more albums including Let It Beat (2009), which featured collaborations with notable artists such as Snoop Dogg and Roy Bittan. In 2011, he released a mini-album titled The W's, followed by Island in the Sun. His subsequent releases include Shwayzed and Confused EP (2012), Shwayze Summer (2013), King of the Summer (2015), and Beach Boy (2019). Throughout his career, Shwayze has worked with various artists and producers, including Cisco Adler, Paul Couture, and The Cataracs.
