Biography
Shea Seger, born 1979 in Fortâ¯Worth, Texas, is an American singer who began her career studying musical theatre in Virginia before relocating to London to record her debut. In 2000 she released the single "Last Time" and the album The May Street Project, which established her presence in the rock scene. The following year the single "Clutch" entered the UK Singles Chart at numberâ¯47, marking her first chart success. Seger contributed the tracks "Hourglass" and "Surrender" to the 2008 film Railed and released her selfâtitled album Shea Seger in 2010 through the independent label Truthcore. In 2019 she issued the album The Shack. Throughout her career she toured with acts such as Toploader, James, David Gray, and Johnâ¯Mayer, and collaborated with graphic designer husband Jimmy Reeves. Her work remains noted for its blend of rock and singerâsongwriter sensibilities.
