Biography
Seweryn Krajewski, born on January 3, 1947, in Nowa Sól, Poland, is a Polish singer and composer. He graduated from a music high school in GdaÅsk. In the 1960s, he was part of popular beat bands Czerwono-Czarni and Czerwone Gitary, where he co-wrote numerous hits with Krzysztof Klenczon. Under the name Rote Gitarren, the band achieved significant success in East Germany with German-language versions of hits. Krajewski left Czerwone Gitary in 1997. He composed film scores, including Jan Serce (1993) and Uprowadzenie Agaty (1993), and wrote hits for other artists such as Maryla Rodowicz. Albums include Strofki na gitarÄ (1981), Uciekaj moje serce (1983), CzÄÅci zamienne (1989), Jestem (2003), Smooth Jazz (2008), Jak tam jest (2011), and Zimowe piosenki (2012). The album Smooth Jazz (2008) was certified Gold in Poland.
