Biography
Serpentine Dominion, an American death metal supergroup, was formed in 2011. The band consisted of Killswitch Engage lead guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz, Cannibal Corpse vocalist George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher, and former The Black Dahlia Murder drummer Shannon Lucas. The origins of Serpentine Dominion can be traced back to the 2009 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, where Killswitch Engage, Cannibal Corpse, and The Black Dahlia Murder all performed. Dutkiewicz initially wrote songs for Fisher, who agreed to perform vocals over them. Shannon Lucas was later tapped to record the drums for their debut album. On July 22, 2016, the band announced their name as Serpentine Dominion. Their self-titled debut Serpentine Dominion, released on October 28, 2016, under Metal Blade Records, received positive reviews from both fans and critics. The album featured lyrics written by Killswitch Engage vocalist Jesse Leach.
