Biography

Screams for Tina was an American death rock and gothic rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1985 by Warren Mansfield and Marvin Rinnig. Their first EP, Strobelight Funeral, was released in 1986. During the late 1980s the band performed at Los Angeles venues including Scream and the Roxy. The group was included in the L.A. Weekly Rock Music Awards readersâ poll in 1988. After lineup changes, including the addition of Billy Budd and Bobbi Drier, they released Judgement Day in 1992. Their song â11:11â appeared on the compilation The Whip (1993), followed by the album Screams for Tina (1993). The band became inactive in 1998, reformed in 2002, and released the EP 2003 A.D. in 2003.
