Biography
Schnuffel is an animated cartoon rabbit created at the end of 2007 by the German media company Jamba! to market a ringtone. The character is a young, child-like rabbit with big eyes and long floppy ears. The music was composed by Markus Kretschmer and Tamara Lücke, while the lyrics of the "Kuschel Song" were written by Sebastian NuÃbaum and Andreas Wendorf. The "Kuschel Song " is released in February 2008 and reaches number 1 in the German singles charts. The debut album Ich hab' dich lieb is released in May 2008 and is placed in the German album charts. Further albums follow, including Winterwunderland (2008) and Komm kuscheln (2009). Schnuffel is known for his cute songs and has achieved chart positions in several countries. The character is adapted into various languages, including English, French and Italian.
