Schwiizergoofe is a Swiss music project initiated by Nikol Camenzind, wife of music producer Roman Camenzind. The group was formed with the goal of creating modern children's songs in Swiss-German dialects. Inspired by the Schlieremer Chind children's choir, Camenzind composed songs with Georg Schlunegger from HitMill, the production company of her husband. The project, named after the Swiss-German word "goofe" for children, released its debut double-CD album 1 in 2013, featuring 15 songs and their instrumental versions. This album reached top 10 of the Swiss Album Charts and was certified Platinum for selling over 20,000 copies. A second double-CD with another 15 tracks followed in November 2013, recorded during a summer camp. Both albums, along with five subsequent releases, achieved significant chart success in Switzerland. Proceeds from album sales and ticket purchases were donated to UNICEF.
