Habib Mohebian, known professionally as Habib, was born on September 27, 1947, in Tehran, Iran. He began his musical journey with a strong interest in the guitar and later studied composition under Morteza Hannaneh. His breakthrough came with the release of the album Mard-e Tanha-ye Shab in 1977, which included the hit song "Shahlaye Man." Following the Iranian Revolution, Habib left Iran in 1983 and settled in Los Angeles. He continued his career with notable albums such as Bezan Baran (1996) and Kavir-e Bavar (1999), which featured the popular song "Kharchanghaye Mordabi." Habib passed away on June 10, 2016, due to cardiac arrest.
