Biography

Afshin Moghaddam, born Hossein Ahanian Moghaddam on September 30, 1945, in Tehran, Imperial State of Iran, was a Iranian singer. His career began with his notable song "Zemestoun (Winter)," which later gained significant recognition by ranking number 79 in Manoto 1's 100 Greatest Iranian Songs of All-Time chart. Moghaddam's music career included the release of the album Zemestoon: Best of Afshin posthumously in 2002, through Caltex Records. Tragically, Afshin Moghaddam died in a car accident on July 23, 1976, while traveling to Amol, north of Iran.
