Samo Zaen, born Osama Mohamed Zaen Alabras on November 10, 1979, in Kuwait to a Syrian family from Latakia, is an Egyptian singer and actor. After completing high school, he moved to London to study audio engineering. Samo Zaen began his music career in 1999 with the release of his debut album Mili Ya Hilwa. He subsequently released several albums under the Egyptian production company Mazzika, including Ana Leek (2002) and Lek Lewahdak (2008). Notable collaborations include work with Kelma Music on a separate album. Samo Zaen has also ventured into acting, appearing in films such as Hamada (2005) and Favor of Life (2017).
