Biography

Sammy Hagar and The Waboritas, an American hard rock band, formed in 1997 following Sammy Hagar's departure from Van Halen. The group, which included drummer David Lauser and keyboardist Jesse Harms among others, served as Hagar's backup band for his solo projects. Their debut album, Red Voodoo, was released in 1999, followed by Ten 13 in 2000 and Not 4 Sale in 2002. The band's live album, Live Hallelujah, was released in 2003. Throughout their career, Sammy Hagar and The Waboritas toured extensively and collaborated with notable musicians such as Michael Anthony, who frequently made guest appearances. Despite a hiatus during the Van Halen tour of 2004, the band continued to perform and record, releasing Livin' It Up! in 2006.
