Biography

Laura Põldvere, born on August 30, 1988, in Tallinn, Estonia, is a singer. She started her career in 2005 by participating in Eurolaul 2005 with the song "Moonwalk", winning as part of the girl group Suntribe. Representing Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005, Suntribe did not advance to the final. In September 2007, Põldvere released her debut album Muusa. She returned to Eesti Laul as a solo singer in 2009 with "Destiny", which placed third. That same year she released the album Ultra. In November 2011, she released her first compilation album Sädemeid taevast, featuring all her singles from 2005 to 2011. Põldvere competed in Eesti Laul 2017 with Koit Toome, winning with "Verona" and representing Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017.
