Biography

Rumpelstiltskin Grinder is an American thrash metal band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Formed in 2002 by guitarists Matt Moore and Ryan Moll, along with drummer Patrick Battaglia, the group initially included bassist Shawn Riley and singer Jason Sidote. The band's early releases included a live album, Live at the Dungeon: Raped by Bears, released in 2003, and a split EP with Jumboâs Killcrane in 2004. After signing with Relapse Records, they released their debut studio album, Buried in the Frontyard, in 2005. Following a tour with Municipal Waste, the band underwent several lineup changes, including the addition of Eli Shaika as vocalist and, later, Shawn Riley taking over vocal duties. Notable releases include Living for Death, Destroying the Rest (2009), and their album, Ghostmaker, released in 2012.
