Lost World Order, a thrash metal band from Bielefeld, Germany, was formed in 1990 under the name Spectre Dragon. Initially releasing demos with fantasy-influenced lyrics and a heavy/speed metal sound, the band rebranded as Lost World Order in 2007 to better reflect their thrash metal direction. Their debut album under the new name, This Apparatus Must Be Earthed!, was released in 2008 via Musicaz Records. The band embarked on a tour with Cripper and Hatred before beginning an end-time-themed trilogy with Marauders (2009) and Parasites (2012). Despite setbacks, including the insolvency of their distributor for Parasites, Lost World Order completed the trilogy with Tyrants in 2016.
