Biography
Ares Kingdom is an American thrash and death metal group formed in 1996. The band was founded by guitarist Chuck Keller and drummer Mike Miller following the end of the group Order from Chaos. Their first recording was the demo Ares Kingdom (1997). In 2001, guitarist Doug Overbay and vocalist and bassist Alex Blume joined the group. Their recordings include the EP Firestorm Redemption (2006) and the debut album Return to Dust (2006). Ares Kingdom performed at the Noctis III Fest in Calgary and the NWN! Festival in Berlin. Their discography includes the albums Incendiary (2010), Veneration (2013), The Unburiable Dead (2015), and By the Light of Their Destruction (2019). The group released the album In Darkness at Last (2022). Their music includes themes such as historical events, war, determination, and strength.
