Roselle Nava, born 28 March 1976 in Parañaque, is a Filipino singer, actress, and politician. She established a reputation as a member of the youth-oriented show Ang TV (1992â1997). Her recording career began with the album Roselle (1994), featuring the single "Bakit Nga Ba Mahal Kita", which reached Number 1 in the Philippines for eight months. In 1995, Nava received the Awit Award for Best Female Singer for the song "You". Her discography included the albums Say It Again (1995), Roselle: On Higher Ground (1997), and Simply Roselle (1999). Navaâs acting career included the film Mangarap Ka (1995) and the series ASAP. Following a throat virus that affected her vocal performance, she resumed musical activity in 2015. Nava also established a career in politics, serving as a member of the Parañaque City Council from 2010 to 2019.
