Ronny Platte is a German punk band from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The group achieved cult status in the northeastern German punk scene in the early 2000s, even though they never released an official album. Their songs circulated for years on copied cassettes and became known primarily through live performances and word of mouth within the scene. Studio recordings were always planned, but the project ended before any album was released. It wasnât until 2026 that the band released their first official EP, Dagegen. The EP features songs from their early creative period and, for the first time, introduces the bandâwhich had previously been regarded primarily as a scene legendâto a wider audience.
