Biography
Robin Spielberg, born November 20, 1962, in Maplewood, New Jersey, is an American pianist and composer. She began formal piano lessons at age seven and later graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Her debut solo album, Heal of the Hand, was self-released in 1993 and became North Star Music's best-selling album in 1994 and 1995. In 1996, she joined the Steinway Artist roster and made her concert debut at Carnegie Hall's Weill Hall in 1997. Throughout her career, Spielberg has released over 20 studio albums, including In the Heart of Winter (1995) and Sea to Shining Sea: A Tapestry of American Music (2010). Her album Downtown charted at number 5 on Billboard's Classical Crossover Chart in 2023.
