Biography

Formed in Orange County, California in 2011, Robert Jon & the Wreck is a blues-rock quintet founded by singer and guitarist Robert Jon Burrison. While the group’s line-up has changed over the course of their career, the band’s leader has kept his musical vision intact, mixing blues and Southern rock together into a potent mix that has made them a popular live act. Shortly after forming, the group began a busy tour schedule and released their debut album, Fire Started (2011). Their next release was the Rhythm of the Road EP (2013) which was followed by The Red Bull Sessions EP in 2014. The group continued to build a reputation as a great live band while releasing a series of critically acclaimed albums including Glory Bound (2015) Good Life Pie (2016), Robert Jon & the Wreck (2018), and Last Light on the Highway (2020) before releasing their first live album, Live From Hawaii (2020). After the release of Shine a Light on Me Brother (2021), they issued their second live album, Wreckage, Vol. 2 (Live) (2022), which was followed six months later by their third live release, Live at the Ancienne Belgique (2023). Returning to the studio, Robert Jon & the Wreck released the albums Ride into the Light (2023) and Red Moon Rising (2024). Between two tours, they recorded Heartbreaks & Last Goodbyes (2025).
