Rebekah Sherrill Chance, born 21â¯Juneâ¯1976 in England, is an English singer who emerged on the pop and MOR scene in the midâ1990s. After early vocal training in Tamworth, she signed with MCA Records in 1996 and released the single "You Lift Me Up", which entered the UK Singles Chartâs Top Forty and gained club traction. The followâup single "Just A Little Bit of Love" was issued the same year, produced by KâKlass, but peaked at number fiftyâone and did not chart within the Top Forty. In 1997, the cover "Woman in Love" was released; it entered the chart at number sixtyâfour and fell off the next week. That year, Rebekah Sherrill Chance recorded tracks for an unreleased album, including âFallenâ and âSwept Awayâ, which remain unavailable. In 1996, she released the album Introduction, followed by Big Trouble (2001) and I'll Live. Throughout her career, Rebekah Sherrill Chance maintained a presence on the UK pop charts and contributed to the danceâpop genre with several clubâhit singles, though no further chartâtopper was achieved after the late 1990s.
