Biography

Rebekah Sherrill Chance, born 21 June 1976 in England, is an English singer who emerged on the pop and MOR scene in the mid‑1990s. After early vocal training in Tamworth, she signed with MCA Records in 1996 and released the single "You Lift Me Up", which entered the UK Singles Chart’s Top Forty and gained club traction. The follow‑up single "Just A Little Bit of Love" was issued the same year, produced by K‑Klass, but peaked at number fifty‑one and did not chart within the Top Forty. In 1997, the cover "Woman in Love" was released; it entered the chart at number sixty‑four and fell off the next week. That year, Rebekah Sherrill Chance recorded tracks for an unreleased album, including “Fallen” and “Swept Away”, which remain unavailable. In 1996, she released the album Introduction, followed by Big Trouble (2001) and I'll Live. Throughout her career, Rebekah Sherrill Chance maintained a presence on the UK pop charts and contributed to the dance‑pop genre with several club‑hit singles, though no further chart‑topper was achieved after the late 1990s.
