Re-Flex was formed in the United Kingdom in the early 1980s. The band consists of John Baxter, Paul Fishman, Nigel Ross-Scott, and Roland Vaughan Kerridge. It is considered a seminal group of the New Wave and New Romantic movements. Musically, Re-Flex can be classified as a blend of synth-pop and new wave. Notable albums include The Politics of Dancing (1983) and Humanication (1985, re-released in 2010).
