Biography

Quiero Club, a Monterrey indie-pop group formed in 2004, began as a cover‑jam collective led by Priscila González and Gustavo “Cátsup” Hernández. Their breakthrough single "No Coke" (2005) led to the self‑released debut album WOF (2006). The follow‑up Nueva América (2008) featured the hit "Minutos de Aire" co‑written with Jorge González of Los Prisioneros. Subsequent releases included the EP Dias Perfectos (2011), the album El Techo es el Suelo (2013), which earned a 2013 Latin Grammy nomination for Art/Package, and the vinyl Diez (2014). Their 2018 album Oportunidad de Oro showcased a sense of experimentation.
