Biography
Ventric Morgan, known professionally as Queen Ifrica, was born on March 25, 1975, in Montego Bay, Jamaica. She is a reggae singer and disc jockey who began her career after winning a local talent contest in 1995. This breakthrough led to major performances, including appearances at Reggae Sumfest and collaborations with Tony Rebelâs Flames Crew in 1998. Her full-length album, Montego Bay, was released in 2009 under VP Records. Her subsequent album Climb (2017) reached Number 1 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart. Throughout her career, she has been an active community leader, involved in outreach programs for children in Jamaicaâs inner-city and charity shows.
